Throughout the year, restaurants and establishments in the Lexington community host "fundraising nights" that allow LBA families & friends to enjoy a meal or event, while supporting the band! MATTRESS FUNDRAISER

Want a good night’s sleep? Lafayette Band has just what you need! Our Mattress Fundraiser offers a showroom set up at Lafayette High School of quality name-brand mattresses at 50% off retail price! And the best part? The Band makes a profit from every mattress sale. Invite your friends, your neighbors, and everyone you know to the Lafayette Band Mattress Sale.

CASHBOOK FUNDRAISER

Our Cashbook Fundraiser kicks off at the start of Band Camp! The Cashbook is sold for $20 and provides year-long savings at merchants throughout Lexington and Louisville. All band families are asked to sell 10 Cashbooks. There is an Opt-Out for this fundraiser of​$125 (tax-deductible donation to Lafayette Band Association).

LAFAYETTE INVITATIONAL

Each Fall, the Lafayette Band hosts its very own Lafayette Marching Band Invitational with some of the finest bands throughout the Commonwealth. The all-day competition is held on the campus of Lafayette High School and also serves as a fundraiser for​The Pride of the Bluegrass. Lafayette Band is proud to have ​Asbury University​ as the official Invitational Presenting Sponsor.

SNAP RAISE

Snap Raise is an online giving campaign personalized to Lafayette Band. It’s quick, easy, and secure with no products to sell and no money collection! Students will be asked to collect email addresses of friends and family. Personalized emails will be sent out about our fabulous Lafayette Band where individuals, both near and far, can donate to the Pride of the Bluegrass. It’s a snap, and it has the potential to be one of our biggest fundraisers of the year!

LAFAYETTE BAND RAFFLE

Tickets for this fabulous raffle are only $10 each and anyone can win! There is no age requirement, and you do not have to be present at the drawing to win. Band members and their families are eligible! The raffle is conducted under Kentucky Charitable Gaming Commission rules and regulations.

LAFAYETTE CAR WASH

This fun and successful event takes place a couple times a year. Support the band and get a sparkling clean car!

The Lafayette Band Store has all your gear to support the Lafayette Band. Look for the Band Store at various times through band camp and the marching season. Look your best by buying from the Lafayette Band Store and support ​The Pride of the Bluegrass!

This year all individual and section portraits will be taken by our own professional photographer and band parent, Barry Brown. Support the band by buying pictures and photo memorabilia for family and friends!

Raise Right is an app where you can purchase gift cards and each time  you do, the band earns cash!!  Lafayette Band can earn over $1,000 each year by using gift cards to pay for everyday expenses like groceries, gas, and more! GIVE BHG GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER

It’s easy to give the gift of good taste and support Lafayette Band Association at the same time!

By participating in our Give BHG annual fundraiser, patrons who purchase gift cards at GiveBHG.com will be able to designate 20% of the purchase amount to Lafayette Band Association. Please note that the 20% donation can only be provided with ONLINE purchases. Buyers are NOT able to make donations with gift card purchases made in-store at BHG Restaurants.

To make a purchase and donate:

1) Visit GiveBHG.com in order to purchase Gift Cards.

2) Select a BHG Gift Card of any denomination.

3) Select your non-profit’s name from the drop down menu — double-check that you have selected the correct organization, as several participating organizations have similar names (e.g. Lafayette Band Association, Lafayette Cheer, Lafayette Football).

4) Your gift card will be sent in the mail in two business days and your organization will receive 20% of your purchase!
